Award Winning Website!
We are proud to announce that the Hampshire Autistic Society website, developed and maintained by Big Time Pictures has been recognised as the 'Best
Charity or Voluntary Organisation Website' at the 2007 Hantsweb awards.
The results were announced on Tuesday 18th September at a prestigious ceremony
hosted by Steve Power, of Wave 105 and the award was accepted by Sally Hillyear
on behalf of The Hampshire Autistic Society and Big Time Pictures' Managing Director,
Tony Allen.
The HAS site was chosen from more than 70 nominated sites and judging was carried out by a panel of experts selected for their experience within the charity sector.
"Very informative and very easy to use with useful links
for people interested in, suffering from or wanting to help, those with Autism.
The age related content was particularly refreshing to see. The ability to completely
customise the colours of the site sets this web-site apart from many others.
Every web site designer should take a look at this if accessibility is really
important to them. A very worthy winner."
