Synopsis

A death he can't remember... from a time he can't forget

FADE IN:

EXT. WIND FARM - NEAR CAMBRIDGE, ENGLAND - NIGHT

We see the turn of the monolithic wind turbine, silhouetted against the huge, brilliant moon. The white light shines across the acres of land. A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN runs barefoot across a field. The peace of the still evening cut through with the sound of her STUMBLING through the tall grass and her GASPING BREATH.

She keeps looking behind, terrified. No one is seen to chase. She trips in her long dress and falls heavily, CURSES and starts up again. Ahead a cliff, which we see - but she cannot. Her track marked by a shadowy line through the grass. She keeps going faster, more desperate to get away - towards the CLIFF EDGE.

Without hesitation she runs straight over the edge - down the sheer cliff face and into the darkness below.

There is no scream...

Haunted by the death of a beautiful woman, Michael Rhodes flees New York to seek solace in Cambridge, England and a hasty reunion with a close-knit group of friends, including the stunning Rebecca Everett.

As Michael struggles to piece together the fragments of his past, he delves deeper into a heady world of obsession, hypnosis and mind games. The vivid memories he has cherished from his student days are founded on an elaborate deceit. In the shadow of the huge wind-turbine that dominates his dreams he discovers a truth so terrible that his life will never be the same again.

VIVID is a psychological thriller which explores obsession and guilt, ambition and grief. As we piece together the puzzle with Michael, will we discover the truth before he does?
